Long lets available over the winter in central Torquay location
For much of the year most of our guests are here to catch a few days of relaxation from their hectic lives and so are here for short breaks. We are also able to offer special rates for guests who wish to have longer stays or who would like to stay with us over the winter months.
Torquay is a very attractive winter destination as winters tend to be shorter and milder than almost anywhere else in the UK. Attractions and restaurants are open all year round and there are magnificent coastal walks which are perfect for the many bright and clear winter days we enjoy.
Palm Grove Apartments are located in the Wellswood area of Torquay which is a highly desirable leafy residential location just a short distance from the harbour and Torquay town centre.
Palm Grove Apartments offer guests high quality refurbished accommodation in a tranquil location. The apartments are well maintained and well equipped and have all been subject to a continual programme of enhancement and modernisation.
With a variety of apartments available we can happily accommodate longer stay guests whether they are looking for property locally, between house moves, visiting friends and relatives, working in the area or just wanting to enjoy an extended break away from their usual routine.
We have studio apartments which have fully refitted bathrooms and kitchens and spacious one-bedroom apartments. The Mews is a lovely ground floor two-bedroom apartment should you need a bit of extra space. Most apartments have laundry facilities.
The rate will vary depending on the apartment, the length of stay and the time of year. In general, a longer let is 12 weeks up to a maximum of 22 weeks and the winter let period runs from the beginning of November through to the April. Shorter rental terms are possible.
As a guide, 12 week plus rates over the winter start at £750 per 4 week period for a studio apartment. Our rates include utilties, WIFI and a weekly bedding change. We will work with you to put together a package that is attractive. We require a refundable deposit equal to 4 weeks' rent and for the rent to be paid by standing order every 4 weeks in advance. The apartments are exempt from council tax.
