COVID-19

We would like to draw your specific attention to the latest government guidance that requires guests wear face masks in public areas.

Prior to Check-in
We would ask you to provide your approximate arrival time, this is to ensure we only ever have one party checking in at a time. We may ask you to move your check-in time slightly or wait in your car until previous guests have been shown to their room. We will email you our registration form to ensure we have a paperless check-in.

Arrival
You will find hand sanitiser on reception. Please use the hand sanitiser when entering or leaving. You will be given your sanitised room key. We ask that you keep your key with you at all times.  We have been advised against handling your luggage or belongings, or showing you around the hotel or to you room therefore we will direct you straight to your room.

Please ensure you keep within the 2 metre social distancing where possible especially on the stairs and corridors.

The balance of your stay will be charged on arrival using the payment details provided to avoid contact.

Rooms
Scatter cushions and throws have been removed to make cleaning and sanitizing more effective. All hard surfaces including door handles, hairdryer, heater and remote control etc. have been sanitised before your arrival. Crockery and glasses have been replaced with disposable alternatives.

Housekeeping

You should be assured that between each guest stay rooms will have been subjected to a rigorous deep clean to ensure the highest possible levels of cleanliness. We have been advised that for your safety and that of the housekeeping team, they should enter your room as little as possible during your stay. That is why we ask you if at all possible to reuse your towels and for your own comfort keep your room as tidy as possible.

For guests staying 4 nights or less, we will replace towels, toiletries and complimentary tea trays as required. Please open your window before leaving the room.
Before leaving your room in the morning please place any towels that you would like replaced in the bag provided, please also seal rubbish bags and place outside your door. Should you run out of any toiletries, coffee, tea etc, please inform reception and these will be supplied to you. Similarly if a maintenance issue arises, please let us know. As you would expect we are, wherever possible, minimising any staff entry into your room during your stay.

Breakfast
We have reconfigured the table layout to meet the (2m) requirements. In addition due to the change of regulations the breakfast buffet will be replaced by a la carte table service. Please ensure you sanitise your hands before entering the dining room. On the morning of your first breakfast you will be allocated a table and please use the same table on subsequent days of your stay.

Breakfast of your choice will be cooked to order as normal. We will serve jams and preserves again from order.

Feeling unwell during stay
Government guidelines which we ask you to read.
"If a guest is displaying signs of the Covid-19 virus while staying in overnight accommodation for a permitted reason, they should inform the accommodation provider, immediately self-isolate where they are to minimise any risk of transmission, and request a test. If they are confirmed to have Covid-19, they should return home if they reasonably can. They should use private transport but only drive themselves if they can do so safely. If a guest cannot reasonably return home (for example because they are not well enough to travel or do not have the means to arrange transport), their circumstances should be discussed with an appropriate health care professional and, if necessary, the local authority. Guests should follow government guidance on dealing with possible or confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. Once the guest has returned to their main residence, they should continue to follow the government guidance on self-isolation, household isolation and social distancing. If the guest cannot return home, the guest will be expected to pay all costs.”
